About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Chef and Cook to join our kitchen team. You will be responsible for running your own section, preparing and plating dishes to a high standard, and ensuring smooth service during busy periods.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, cook, and present dishes consistently and to spec
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of your section
Assist with menu development and specials
Support and train junior kitchen staff
Follow all food safety and hygiene standards
About You:
Previous experience as a Chef or Cook
Strong knowledge of kitchen operations
Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team
Passion for quality food and attention to detail

Tasks & Responsibilities:
Run your assigned kitchen section efficiently during service
Prepare, cook, and plate dishes to a consistently high standard
Assist with menu planning, daily specials, and stock control
Maintain high levels of cleanliness and organisation in your section
Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards
Train, mentor, and support junior kitchen staff and apprentices
Work collaboratively with the Head Chef and other team members to ensure smooth service
Help with ordering and receiving stock as required
Qualifications & Skills:
Proven Experience – Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or strong background as a Demi Chef
Food Safety Knowledge – Understanding of HACCP and food safety standards
Organisational Skills – Ability to run a section efficiently and maintain a clean, well-ordered workstation
Team Player – Works collaboratively with the kitchen brigade and front-of-house staff
Time Management – Able to perform under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen
Creativity & Passion – Enthusiastic about quality ingredients and creating great dishes
Strong Communication Skills – Clear and professional communication with colleagues and management
