Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and cook a variety of traditional Thai dishes, including stir-fries, curries, soups, and grilled items.
• Develop and create new menu items that reflect the essence of Thai
• Ensure that food quality and presentation meet our restaurant's high standards.
• Manage kitchen operations, including stock control, inventory, and food costs.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
• Supervise and train junior kitchen staff, ensuring consistency in food preparation and presentation.
• Collaborate with the restaurant management to maintain high standards of food service.
• Monitor and ensure that portion sizes and presentation are consistent with our brand's requirements.
• Work closely with suppliers to source high-quality ingredients.
Skills and Experience:
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Chef specializing in Thai cuisine (preferably in a busy restaurant environment).
• Strong knowledge of traditional Thai cooking techniques and ingredients.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Good communication and leadership skills to supervise and guide kitchen staff.
• Passionate about food with attention to detail in both preparation and presentation.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and ability to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
• Relevant culinary qualifications or certification is preferred
