About the Role We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef to join team in Camperdown. This role is ideal for a motivated chef who thrives in a fast-paced, events-driven environment and takes pride in delivering consistently high-quality food, pizza experience in stretching and wood fire skills are a bonus.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook high-quality dishes with a strong focus on grill service

• Maintain consistency, presentation, and quality during à la carte service, events, and functions

• Assist with prep and service across the kitchen as required

• Ensure the grill section is clean, organised, and operating efficiently at all times

• Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to deliver smooth and timely service

• Follow all food safety, hygiene, and WHS standards

• Assist with stock rotation, portion control, and minimising waste

• Maintain composure and efficiency during high-volume service periods

Key Qualities We Are Looking For

• Genuine passion for food and hospitality

• Strong grill experience with excellent attention to detail and consistency

• Ability to work well within a team in a fast-paced environment

• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and improve

• Good time management and organisational skills

• Ability to perform under pressure, especially during busy events and functions

Experience & Skills

• Previous experience in a similar Chef or Grill Chef role

• Experience in high-volume kitchens or events environments

• Solid understanding of food safety and kitchen standards

• Relevant trade qualifications preferred but not essential
