Harvest Hospitality are searching for a Chef to join the kitchen team at the Woy Woy Hotel, Woy Woy. This role will suit people who have creative flare coupled with strong technical skills. The ability to work efficiently as part of a team in a fast paced environment is critical.
You will be responsible for maintaining the highest level of food standards, food safety standards and the overall performance and reputation of the hotel in the local community.
The venue is a favourite of locals and visitors alike. Our reputation is set on simplicity, great service and a fun and laid back atmosphere.
Skills and ExperienceTo be considered for this role, you will need:
Proven experience for 2+ years in a similar role
Knowledge and understanding of the restaurant and dining industry and the trends in the current environment
A focus on delivering the highest standards of presentation, product and overall customer experience
Strong business acumen including knowledge of the kitchen's financial performance and its effect on the business
Sound demonstration of product knowledge, technical skills and food standards
Ability to work in a team environment and liaise with FOH staff and senior management
Competitive remuneration, negotiable based on experience.
