Minimum 1-2 years of professional kitchen experience is required.
Candidates willing to relocate to Ulladulla NSW or local candidates are both welcome to apply.
- Prepare, cook and present high-quality dishes in accordance with menu specifications and company standards
- Take responsibility for a designated kitchen section including Grill, Pan or Larder section
- Ensure consistency in food quality, portion control and presentation at all service times
- Assist the Head Chef and Sous Chef with daily kitchen operations and service preparation
- Support menu development by contributing ideas for seasonal dishes and recipe improvements
- Monitor stock levels, rotate stock and assist with ordering and inventory control
- Receive deliveries and check product quality, weight, freshness and invoices
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe kitchen environment at all times
- Ensure all food preparation and storage procedures comply with HACCP, Food Safety and Workplace Health & Safety regulations
- Train and support junior kitchen staff and apprentices where required
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment across breakfast, lunch and dinner service
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness and kitchen efficiency
- Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and timely service during busy periods
- Experience in grill, pan or larder section operations is highly regarded
- Pastry experience or skills will be considered an advantage
