We are looking for a Chef who can be part of a team who are working towards making our Italian restaurant the ultimate Italian destination.
Job description:
You will create authentic Italian dishes by crafting fresh pasta, sauces, and regional specialties that highlight traditional flavours and techniques. You will be part of kitchen operation, ensuring food quality, and assisting the team to deliver a consistently exceptional dining experience.

Tasks and responsibilities:
- Prepare fresh pasta dough, sauces, fillings, and toppings using traditional Italian techniques
- Handcraft pasta shapes and roll dough to required thickness and consistency
- Prepare, stretch, and shape pizza dough for service, ensuring correct hydration and texture
- Assemble pizzas with balanced toppings and flavour profiles, following menu standards
- Operate and maintain pizza ovens (wood‑fired, gas, or electric) to achieve consistent cooking results
- Cook pasta dishes to order, ensuring correct timing, seasoning, and presentation
- Plating and portioning dishes to support efficient service periods
- Monitor ingredient quality, rotate stock, and maintain correct storage of fresh and perishable items
- Maintain a clean, organised workstation and uphold strict food safety and hygiene standards
- Assist with menu development, including new pasta dishes, sauces, and seasonal pizza specials
- Communicate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and timely dish preparation

Relevant Diploma and 1 year experience, OR at least 3 years’ experience is not holding a qualification.
