Task & responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, ensuring high-quality presentation and consistency.
• Menu planning and development, introducing new and exciting dishes.
• Maintain strict hygiene and food safety standards in accordance with regulations.
• Oversee kitchen operations, ensuring smooth service during peak hours.
• Manage food inventory, stock control, and minimize waste.
• Train and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient team environment.
• Work closely with management to ensure memorable experience for guests.

Qualification & experience

• Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent qualification).
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Chef in a fast-paced café or restaurant environment.
• Experience in team leadership and kitchen management is highly desirable.
