We are seeking a passionate and skilled Chef to join the dynamic kitchen team at Greenzilla Vegan & Vegetarian. The ideal candidate will bring creativity, efficiency, and a strong understanding of plant-based cuisine. Task & responsibilities

• Prepare and craft Indian and Italian dishes with a strong emphasis on consistency, flavour balance, and visual presentation, with a specialisation in vegan and vegetarian varieties.
• Assist in menu planning and ideation, bringing new plant-based creations to life.
• Manage food quality, portion control, and kitchen hygiene.
• Coordinate stock, assist with inventory and supplier liaison.
• Train and support junior staff, fostering a collaborative kitchen environment.
• Uphold strict food safety and operational standards.

Qualification & experience

• Minimum of 1–2 years’ experience in  commercial kitchen.
• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent) preferred.
• Passion for plant-based or vegetarian cooking.
• Strong multitasking, time management, and collaboration skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
• Familiarity with food safety standards and kitchen hygiene.
