St Philip's College is seeking an enthusiastic, compassionate, and faith-driven Chaplain to join our vibrant school community in Alice Springs.
This is a unique opportunity to play a significant role in the spiritual, pastoral, and wellbeing life of the College while building meaningful relationships with students, staff, and families.
As Chaplain, you will provide pastoral care, support student wellbeing, contribute to the Christian life of the College, and help foster a positive and inclusive school culture grounded in our values and ethos.
Depending on your qualifications, experience, and interests, the role may also include teaching responsibilities or classroom support opportunities, allowing you to engage with students both inside and outside the classroom. We are committed to finding the right person and are open to shaping aspects of the role to suit the successful applicant.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will:
Demonstrate a strong and authentic Christian faith, expressed in an inclusive and respectful way
Have a genuine passion for supporting the wellbeing of young people
Be confident engaging with students, staff, and families from diverse backgrounds
Is compassionate, approachable, and emotionally intelligent
Has experience in chaplaincy, ministry, youth work, education, wellbeing, or a related field
Holds relevant qualifications or experience suitable for chaplaincy work
