We are seeking experienced and motivated Cellar Door Supervisors to join our team.

This hands-on role requires dynamic individuals with strong leadership, sales and customer service skills to ensure visitors enjoy a professional and memorable winery experience.

Tasks & responsibilities:

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the cellar door to ensure a smooth and professional customer experience.
• Lead, supervise and train staff to deliver high standards of customer service and strong product knowledge.
• Oversee wine tastings and sales, promote and sell wine and related products, manage and build customer loyalty to maximise sales.
• Handle customer inquiries, service issues and feedback in a professional and timely manner.
• Monitor and manage stock levels of wine, merchandise and tasting supplies, ensuring cleanliness and organisation of the cellar door.
• Support promotional activities and sales initiatives to enhance visibility and drive revenue.
• Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety regulations.

Skills: 

• At least 12 months of professional experience in a similar position in Australia 
• Ability to deliver exceptional customer experiences, engage visitors, and build rapport to promote brand loyalty
• Proven ability to meet sales targets & upsell wine and products and manage wine club memberships
• In-depth understanding of wine production, varietals, tasting notes and food pairings, with the ability to communicate this effectively to customers
• Clear and professional verbal and written communication, suitable for customer interactions,  staff instructions and event coordination
• Current RSA certification
