I'm excited to be hiring for the position of CDP (Chef de Partie) at Gather, our bustling restaurant located in Springwood, NSW 2777. This is a full-time role that offers the opportunity to work alongside a talented and passionate team in a vibrant and fast-paced environment.

As a CDP at Gather, you will be responsible for working closely with the Head Chef to ensure the smooth running of the kitchen. This will involve preparing and cooking high-quality dishes, maintaining food safety standards, and overseeing a team of Commis Chefs and Kitchen Porters. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to menu development, order supplies, and help with stock control.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong culinary background and a passion for creating delicious and innovative dishes. You should have previous experience working in a similar role, be able to work well under pressure, and have excellent communication and leadership skills. A positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow are also essential.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role
- Formal culinary training or relevant qualifications
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and procedures
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team
