The Unicorn Bar is a warm, welcoming neighbourhood wine bar in the heart of Shenton Park. We are a locals-focused venue built around good wine, relaxed hospitality, hand crafted food menu and genuine customer connection.

We are currently looking for a casual bar person to join our team for approximately 20+ hours per week across evenings and weekends.

This role would suit somebody who genuinely enjoys hospitality, loves talking to people, thrives in a fast-paced but relaxed environment, and understands that great venues are built on atmosphere, consistency and customer experience.

You will be involved across all areas of the venue including:

• Preparing and serving beers, wines and cocktails

• Delivering warm, attentive and genuine customer service

• Building relationships with regulars and local customers

• Running food and drinks to tables

• Maintaining venue cleanliness and presentation

• Assisting with opening and closing procedures

• Working closely with a small, supportive and hands-on team and owners

• Previous bar or hospitality experience preferred

• Strong customer service skills and confidence speaking with guests

• A friendly, positive and team-focused attitude

• Ability to work with urgency whilst remaining calm and professional

• Someone who enjoys community-focused hospitality and creating memorable experiences

• Availability across nights and weekends a must

• RSA required
