Anglicare is seeking a compassionate and experienced Case Manager - Counsellor to join our Community Services team. This part-time opportunity offers flexible hours, making it ideal for school parents or those seeking reduced working hours.

About the role

This role is based in Nowra, with occasional travel to other regional offices to provide additional support when required. You will deliver direct client work to individuals, couples and families with complex needs, working closely with internal programs and external partners.

  • Providing case management support to complex families
  • Working alongside Family Dispute Resolution practitioners
  • Managing referrals and supporting clients through service pathways
  • Providing clients with information about our mediation processes
  • Supporting clients impacted by family and domestic violence, including safety planning and risk awareness
  • Maintaining accurate, timely and compliant client documentation
  • Building strong internal and external referral relationships

About you

  • A Bachelor qualification in Social Work or Psychology, or an equivalent relevant qualification
  • Experience working with complex family systems
  • Sound understanding of family and domestic violence and safe practice frameworks
  • A person-centred, trauma-informed approach to practice
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team
  • A current NSW Driver's Licence and willingness to travel locally when required
