Qualified and Experienced Carpenter required

From expert framing and lockup solutions to building new houses, complete home renovations, our skilled team is dedicated to delivering high-quality craftsmanship and exceptional results. We are growing rapidly and requires a qualified and experienced Carpenter on full-time basis to join the business.

As a member of our team, you will work on a variety of projects, including new jobs, renovations while contributing your expertise to every stage of the process.

Tasks Include (but not limited to):

• Study drawings and specifications to determine materials required, dimensions and installation procedures
• Read and analyse blueprints to determine job requirement
• Execute measuring activities
• Measure, cut and build frames for houses, walls, windows, doors, and staircases
• Measure and install furniture such as cabinets, shelves and more
• Maintenance of existing structures and fittings
• Check the accuracy of work with the use of levels and surveying equipment
• Communicate with other trades professionals to ensure project completed in a timely manner
• Build stairways, doors and window frames, partitions and rafters 
• Carve and assemble furniture, kitchen cabinets, siding and drywall
• Install items where designated
• Conduct repair work and installation of doors, windows, drywall, cabinets, stairs, and other fixtures as required
• Layout floorings, roofing or drywalls ensuring they are levelled and compatible 
• Order and select timbers and materials, and preparing layouts
• Cut materials, and assembling and nailing cut and shaped parts
• Erect framework and roof framing, lay sub-flooring and floorboards and verify trueness of structures
• Nail fascia panels, sheath roofs, and fit exterior wall cladding and door and window frames
• Inspects ceiling or floor tile, wall coverings, siding, glass, or woodwork to detect broken or damaged structures
• Removes damaged or defective parts or sections of structures and repair or replace, using hand tools

Candidate must have:

• Relevant qualifications atleast Certificate III in Carpentry and/or above
• A minimum of One year’s experience in Carpenter job role
• Carried out different aspects of carpentry on commercial and residential projects
• White Card (Preferred)
• Driver License (Preferred)
