Hours: Full-time, 38 hours per week with opportunity for overtime

Location: Mainly based in Melbourne's eastern suburbs with occasional work throughout other parts of Melbourne and wider Victoria

Task & responsibilities

Primarily framing, fixing, lock up and finishing:

• Construct timber frames for residential buildings including wall frames, roof trusses, and floor systems
• Install external cladding, roofing materials, and weatherproofing systems 
• Fit doors, windows, and external fixtures 
• Fixing including skirting boards
• Ensure all framing work meets Australian building standards
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
• Complete work within specified timeframes and to quality standards

Qualification & experience

• Qualified with Cert III in Carpentry 
• Ideally minimum 1-3 years of experience
• Valid driver's licence
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Physical fitness and ability to work in various weather conditions
• Communication and teamwork skills
• Own basic hand tools (power tools and equipment provided)
