Katandra Interiors is seeking a full time Carpenter.

Task & responsibilities

• Install and service a range of interior and exterior window furnishings, including blinds, shutters, curtains, awnings, and louvres
• Construct and install louvre roof systems and patio structures to high standards
• Interpret plans and work from measurements to ensure accurate, secure installations
• Troubleshoot and resolve on-site installation challenges efficiently
• Attend service calls to carry out minor repairs, adjustments, or replacements
• Maintain tools, vehicle stock, and equipment in excellent condition
• Liaise with the office to coordinate scheduled work
• Work independently and unsupervised while delivering exceptional customer service

Qualification & experience

• Related Cert IV or equivalent or at least 3years related work experience.
• Carpentry, cabinetry, or general building experience highly regarded
• Skilled with hand and power tools, as well as accurate measuring and installation techniques
• Experience with window furnishings, louvre roofs, or patio structures an advantage
• Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable working at heights and outdoors
• Positive, can-do attitude
