Ingle Farm By St Georges Bakehouse Cafe is seeking a dedicated and experienced Cafe or Restaurant Manager to lead its busy, customer-focused team. The role involves overseeing daily operations, ensuring high standards of service, supervising and training staff, and managing stock, ordering, and rostering. The Manager will maintain a clean and welcoming environment, work closely with the kitchen and front-of-house teams, and ensure customers enjoy consistent, high-quality food and service. Task & responsibilities

• Collaborate with chefs to design menus that align with customer preferences and business goals.
• Plan and oversee special events to ensure efficient service and excellent guest experiences.
• Manage the procurement and pricing of supplies while adhering to budget guidelines.
• Keep accurate documentation of inventory levels and financial transactions.
• Ensure the dining area meets health and safety standards and is clean, well-maintained, and welcoming.
• Engage with customers to evaluate their satisfaction with food quality and service.
• Recruit, train, and supervise both front-of-house and kitchen staff to uphold service standards.
• Handle reservations, welcome guests, and assist with order-taking when needed.

Qualification & experience

• AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma in related field or equivalent work experience 
• Minimum 1- 3 years of experience in a related position.
• Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills 
• Knowledge of budgeting, purchasing, and food safety standards 
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
