Commune is hiring a Casual Café Allrounder in Fitzroy, VIC.

Commune is a neighbourhood café in Fitzroy serving delicious Turkish-inspired brunch and specialty coffee, offering a warm, welcoming space for the local community.

We’re looking for an experienced and reliable allrounder to join our small team. Commune offers specialty coffee (across all brew methods) alongside modern Turkish and Australian brunch in a fast-paced, friendly environment.

Location: Fitzroy, VIC

About the Role

You’ll support both front and back of house, delivering great customer service, preparing coffee, assisting with food prep, and helping keep the café running smoothly. There is potential for this role to become permanent for the right candidate.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year café experience (essential)

• Confident in a fast-paced environment

• Barista experience is highly advantageous

• Punctual, clean, and organised

• Able to work independently and as part of a team

• Knowledge of food safety practices
