The Business Manager at Marbit Group Py Ltd is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the store, selling campervan fit-out service, ensuring exceptional customer experience, efficient stock management, and strong team performance. This leadership position requires a proactive and creative manager who can drive sales, optimise store operations, and maintain a positive workplace culture that aligns with the company’s values of authenticity, integrity, transparency, and community.

Task & responsibilities

Retail Operations & Sales

• Sell goods and services to customers and provide expert advice on product selection, use, and maintenance.

• Oversee all aspects of daily store operations, including effective merchandising, stock levels monitoring, and reordering to maintain optimal inventor.

• Conduct regular stock audits and maintain accurate inventory records.

Team Leadership

• Recruit, onboard, train, and motivate staff to deliver exceptional service, quality product, and uphold brand values.

• Foster a positive and safety-conscious workplace culture focused on teamwork, effective communication and respect.

Customer Experience

• Ensure exceptional in-store and online customer experiences aligned with company values.

• Build strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business and positive word-of-mouth.

Financial and Resource Management

• Prepare and manage store budgets, including forecasting, cost control, and sales performance analysis.

• Set pricing policies in line with market conditions, cost of goods, sustainability, and brand strategy to achieve monthly and annual targets.

• Implement promotions, merchandising strategies, and marketing initiatives to drive customer traffic and sales.

Marketing and Advertising

• Support company-wide promotional campaigns, product launches, and seasonal sales initiatives.

• Promote the company through local marketing, community engagement or social media as applicable.


Qualification & experience

• Diploma, Advanced Diploma, or Associate Degree in Business, Management, Retail or a related field; OR at least 3 years of relevant work experience in a similar retail management role.

• Strong understanding of retail operations, budgeting, and compliance requirements.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly in managing inventory, purchasing, and stock control.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to problem-solve, lead a team and provide exceptional customer service.

• Minimum 12 months of experience in a supervisory or management position within the retail or automotive industry.

• A valid Australian driver licence is a must for occasional travel between store and warehouse locations.
