Oz-Tac is an Australian-owned engineering and manufacturing company specialising in custom-built machinery and innovative industrial solutions for the timber processing, oil & gas, and construction sectors.

We design, manufacture, and deliver robust equipment and turnkey solutions that solve real production problems for our clients across Australia and internationally. With a strong reputation for innovation, quality, and reliability, we are looking for a driven Business Development / Sales Representative to help grow our next phase.

About the Role

This is not a desk-sales role.

We are looking for someone who can build relationships, identify opportunities, and work directly with industry decision-makers to develop long-term partnerships.

You will focus on:

  • Oil & Gas

  • Timber Processing & Manufacturing

  • Construction & Industrial Projects

You'll work closely with our leadership and engineering team to identify opportunities where Oz-Tac can provide machinery, fabrication, engineering, automation, and turnkey solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate and develop new business opportunities

  • Build relationships with plant managers, operations managers, project managers, and business owners

  • Conduct site visits and client meetings

  • Identify client problems and help scope practical engineering solutions

  • Develop sales pipelines and maintain CRM activity

  • Prepare quotations and follow up opportunities

  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings

  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities

  • Work with the internal engineering and production teams to deliver solutions

  • Help expand Oz-Tac's presence across multiple industrial sectors

What We're Looking For

  • Proven business to business sales or business development experience

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills

  • Ability to understand technical or industrial environments

  • Self-motivated and results-driven

  • Comfortable with cold calling, networking, and face-to-face meetings

  • Experience in industrial equipment, manufacturing, engineering, construction, timber, or oil & gas industries is highly regarded

  • Ability to travel for client visits when required

  • Australian citizenship required for this position
