We are partnering with a growing and well-established electronic security business seeking an ambitious and commercially minded Business Development Manager / Account Executive to help drive revenue growth across the commercial sector.

This established electronic security integrator has a strong presence in the residential space and a solid reputation for delivering quality security solutions.
With growing demand and traction from commercial clients, the business is now in a position to bring in a dedicated commercial-focused professional to solely focus on expanding this side of the business and capitalise on new growth opportunities.

About the Role
In this role, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities across commercial clients while also managing warm inbound leads coming through the company's website and marketing channels.

You will work closely with internal technical teams to provide tailored security solutions for clients, helping guide them through product specifications, solution design discussions, and commercial proposals.

This role offers flexibility to work remotely while being based in Brisbane.

Responsibilities

  • Drive new business growth across the commercial electronic security market
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
  • Manage inbound enquiries and warm leads
  • Conduct client meetings, presentations, and solution discussions
  • Understand client requirements and recommend suitable security solutions
  • Prepare proposals, quotations, and commercial submissions
  • Work collaboratively with technical and operational teams
  • Maintain a strong sales pipeline and consistently achieve revenue targets
  • Handle objections confidently and professionally throughout the sales cycle

About You

  • Previous experience within the electronic security industry is essential
  • Strong understanding of commercial security systems and solutions
  • Proven background in BDR, BDM, Account Management, Sales, or Account Executive roles
  • Experience dealing with commercial sites and stakeholders
  • Confident discussing product specifications and tailored solutions
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated, ambitious, and results-driven
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage your own pipeline
