ABOUT THE ROLE

We have an exciting career opportunity for an experienced sales professional whose core responsibility will be to sell our full product range of tyres to both existing retail networks and to also develop complementary sales channels throughout assigned sales territories in Queensland. Reporting to the State Sales Manager, the role will require regular regional travel and will require the candidate to be able to work with a reasonable degree of autonomy.

DUTIES

• Achieve designated unit and profit sales budgets.
• Concurrently maintain existing long term business relationships as well as develop new ones.
• Contribute to the development of medium-term sales strategies.
• Assist in developing annual budgets.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Wholesale experience with a proven track record of successful sales development.
• Tyre industry background is preferred.
• Tertiary qualifications in business or technical disciplines will be positively regarded.
•  Excellent communication skills with the ability to be able to clearly convey concepts and proposals.
• Adept with basic IT technology with a good working knowledge of the MS Office suite of applications, (IE., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), and conversant with CRM systems.
• The successful candidate will need to possess a high emotional intelligence (EQ), be determined, resilient and with a results driven business perspective.
