About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and driven Business Development Manager – Heavy Equipment Sales to lead sales growth across Australia & New Zealand territories. This role is ideal for a sales professional with strong industry knowledge in construction, earthmoving, mining, agriculture, or related sectors.You will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and driving market growth across assigned regions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end sales of earthmoving and heavy equipment across allocated territories

  • Build a strong sales pipeline through proactive prospecting, site visits, and contractor engagement

  • Expand market share within civil, construction, quarry, mining, and related industries

  • Conduct equipment demonstrations, walk-arounds, and product capability presentations

  • Develop and maintain dealer and distributor relationships where applicable

  • Identify project activity and emerging opportunities across infrastructure and resources sectors

  • Maintain accurate forecasting, CRM updates, and regular sales reporting

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Proven experience in capital equipment sales within construction, agriculture, mining, automobile, or related industries

  • Strong understanding of the civil, construction, and resources market landscape

  • Ability to discuss equipment specifications, load charts, attachments, and operational applications with customers

  • Strong territory management, strategic planning, and negotiation skills

  • Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused mindset

  • Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel across assigned regions
