About the role

DYNACIV Pty Ltd is seeking Bridge Repair Labour to join our team in Kuranda and Innisfail, Queensland. As a member of our dedicated trades and services crew, you will play a role in maintaining and upgrading critical infrastructure within the local region.

This is a casual role with a minimum of 6 months employment.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting with the repair and refurbishment of bridges, including surface preparation, painting, and general maintenance tasks

• Safely operating a variety of hand and power tools to complete job requirements

• Adhering to all relevant safety protocols and quality standards

• Collaborating with the broader construction team to ensure efficient and coordinated project delivery

• Maintaining a clean and organised work environment

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in a labourer or construction role, preferably with exposure to bridge maintenance or coating work

• Minimum 6 months of bridge maintenance or coating experience required

• A minimum of 1-2 years of construction or labouring experience is required

• Work within the rail industry (preferred but not madatory)

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions precisely

• Good physical fitness and stamina to perform manual tasks for extended periods

• A positive, team-oriented attitude and a commitment to workplace safety

• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

• Must have Australian work rights

• Must hold a valid white card certification

• White card certification can be obtained before start date if not currently held
