Walsh Gates designs, fabricates and installs premium automatic gates for commercial, industrial and high-end residential clients across South East Queensland.

We build custom, automation-ready gates in-house.

We're looking for a skilled Boilermaker / Welder who takes pride in quality work and wants to be part of a high-performing team.

About the Role

Based in our large, well-lit and ventilated Brisbane workshop, you’ll fabricate:

• Sliding, swing and cantilever automatic gates

• Structural gate frames

• Precision infill systems

• Automation-ready components

• Bespoke custom designs

This is not repetitive production line work — every project is built to a high standard and represents our brand.

Key Responsibilities

• High-quality MIG welding and fabrication

• Read and interpret technical drawings accurately

• Maintain a safe, clean and organised workshop

• Manage materials, tools and time effectively

• Contribute to continuous improvement

About You

You will:

• Be a qualified Boilermaker / Fabricator

• Have strong MIG welding experience

• Be confident reading technical drawings

• Take pride in clean welds and finished presentation

• Value safety and workshop standards

• Have a team-first attitude
