Boarding Leader (Resident Teacher)
Marist College Ashgrove is a Catholic day and boarding school for boys in Years 5-12, situated in Brisbane's inner Northern suburbs. Inspired by the work of St Marcellin Champagnat, we pride ourselves on delivering excellent academic and career pathway results for our inclusive community of students.
The College has a vacancy for a Boarding Leader to lead one of the residences within the Marist College Boarding community. The college has 5 residences, with each residence supported by a Senior Supervisor together with other on-site supervisors. This position will commence from July 2026.
In return for accommodation and meals while on duty, Boarding Leaders are responsible for on average, approximately 10 hours of duty in the residences during College terms. The boarding leader position is a Middle Leader position which is classified under the leadership scale as a Tier 2+. The Boarding Leader is remunerated at $140,998 pa with an additional 5 hours per week release time. The Boarding Leader will also receive accommodation suitable for a family in a house adjacent to the College. This position attracts a reportable FBT of $55.685.84 per annum
The 10 hours of duty may include duties such as morning wake-up and early morning supervision in the Residence before and after breakfast and afternoon supervision between the hours of 3.10pm and dinner, and evening shifts to 10:30 pm. Applicants must be a registered teacher and hold QLD teacher’s registration and undergo a National Police Check. The College is a non-smoking workplace.
