• Maintaining an up-to-date self-knowledge of skin conditions, skincare ingredients and new treatment approaches to treating skin conditions.

Task & responsibilities

• Perform facial treatments, extractions, and general cosmetic applications.
• Conduct thorough consultations and create tailored skin programs.
• Discuss client needs, analyse skin characteristics, and advise on suitable treatments.
• Educate clients on skincare routines and monitor progress.
• Recommend homecare products and support client education.
• Maintain strict hygiene and cleanliness standards.
• Promote services and participate in clinic promotions and events.
• Evaluate beauty therapy processes and products for effectiveness.
• Receive bookings, manage appointments, and maintain accurate client records.

Qualification & experience

• Minimum Diploma in Beauty Therapy.
• Minimum 8 years’ experience as a Skin or Dermal Therapist.
• Experience and confidence in Manual Extractions and Facial Massage, Microneedling, Facial Peeling.
• Trained in European beauty methods and practices.
• Highly passionate and experienced in diagnosing, treating, and managing acne and skin blemishes, rosacea, healing wounded skin, treating scarring and pigmentation issues.
• Skin analysis equipment interpretation (Woods lamp & Observ 520).
• Proficient & confident client skin consultations, contraindication assessment and experience in client motivational interviewing and client skin education skills.
• Confident knowledge of traditional extraction facial techniques and appreciation of classic, manual facial extraction techniques for the removal of blackheads, whiteheads, papules, pustules, and milia are essential for this position.
• Advanced experience in extractions, medical grade peels, microneedling, laser safety certification & laser operation experience.
