Beautician (Beauty Therapist)

To provide professional beauty therapy services in line with industry standards, delivering tailored treatments such as facials, waxing, nail care, and lash/brow enhancements. The Beautician will ensure optimal client satisfaction, hygiene compliance, and a high-quality salon experience.

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Beautician to join our vibrant team at Access Hairdressing. In this full-time role, you will deliver a range of professional beauty services including facials, waxing, manicures, pedicures, and lash/brow treatments. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on client care, excellent hygiene practices, and a passion for skincare and wellness. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide skin care treatments to clients including facial cleansing, exfoliation, massage, masks, and hydration tailored to individual skin types and concerns
• Perform temporary hair removal using waxing techniques on areas including face, arms, legs, underarms, and bikini line
• Offer manicures and pedicures including nail trimming, shaping, buffing, cuticle care, massage, and polish application
• Tint eyelashes and eyebrows, perform lash lifts and brow shaping using waxing, tweezing, or threading
• Conduct client consultations to assess skin condition and recommend suitable treatments and products
• Advise clients on post-treatment skincare routines and suitable home care products
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in all treatment areas, tools, and equipment according to health regulations
• Keep detailed client records including treatment plans, outcomes, and skin analysis
• Promote and sell retail skincare and beauty products to clients based on their individual needs
• Participate in training sessions to keep updated with the latest beauty techniques, tools, and products
• Support reception duties including appointment booking, client communication, and handling payments when required

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

• Completion of a Certificate III or Certificate IV in Beauty Therapy (or equivalent qualification)
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a professional salon or spa environment
• Practical experience in delivering a wide range of beauty services as listed above
• In-depth understanding of skin types, common skin concerns, and appropriate treatments
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on client care and satisfaction
• Professional appearance and strong personal grooming habits
• Knowledge of hygiene and safety protocols in a salon setting
• Experience in retailing skincare and beauty products (preferred)
   

WORKING HOURS

Full-time position, 38 hours per week.
