Task & responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing and serving a variety of coffee beverages to a high standard

• Operating coffee machines, grinders, and related equipment efficiently and safely

• Providing friendly and professional customer service

• Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the coffee station and service areas

• Monitoring stock levels and assisting with ordering and stock rotation

• Processing customer orders and point of sale transactions accurately

• Assisting front of house operations during busy service periods

• Following food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety procedures

• Assisting with opening and closing duties as required

Qualification & experience

To be considered for this position, applicants should possess:

• At least 12 months of relevant full time work experience as a Barista or in a similar hospitality role

• Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and milk texturing

• Excellent customer service and communication skills

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced environment

• Positive attitude and professional presentation

• Good organisational skills and attention to detail

• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required
