ManCave Barbershop Ballina, operated by Man Cave Balina Pty Ltd, and located at Shop 62, Ballina Fair Shopping Centre, 84 Kerr St, Ballina NSW 2487, is looking for a skilled and motivated full-time Barber to join our team.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys delivering high-quality barbering services, building strong relationships with clients, and working in a busy, team-focused environment.

As a Barber, you will provide professional haircuts, beard trims, and grooming services while helping maintain a welcoming and well-organised barbershop. You will play an important role in creating a positive customer experience and maintaining the shop’s reputation for quality service.

This is a full-time position offering a salary of $75,000 – $80,000 per year plus superannuation.

Task & responsibilities

• Provide high-quality men’s haircuts using barbering techniques such as fades, scissor cuts, and clipper work.
• Perform beard trims, shaping, and grooming services with care and precision.
• Consult with clients to understand their preferences and recommend suitable styles.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene by cleaning and sanitising tools and workstations.
• Assist clients with advice on hair care, grooming, and suitable products.
• Manage appointments and walk-in clients efficiently to maintain smooth daily operations.
• Process payments using the barbershop’s point-of-sale system.
• Build strong relationships with clients by providing friendly and professional service.
• Work collaboratively with team members to maintain a positive and welcoming shop environment.

Qualification & experience

• Certificate III or IV in Hairdressing or Barbering.
• At least 1 year of barbering experience in a barbershop or salon environment.
• Strong practical skills in hair cutting, fades, beard trimming, and men’s grooming.
• Ability to communicate well with clients and deliver personalised services.
• Good understanding of barbering tools, equipment, and hygiene standards.
• Friendly, professional attitude with the ability to work well in a team.
