About the Role

Ilma Beach House is currently seeking a friendly, passionate, and experienced Bar Attendant (Supervisor) to join the team on a full-time basis.

This is an exciting opportunity for a hospitality professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys leading from the front. You will oversee daily bar operations, supervise junior staff, and ensure excellent customer service standards are consistently achieved.

Please note that the suitable candidate will be required to live and work in the WA Southwest region; FIFO arrangements will not be accepted.

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Supervise, train and support bar attendants to maintain high service standards 
• Prepare and serve cocktails, mixed drinks, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages 
• Provide friendly and professional customer service to patrons 
• Assist with staff rostering and day-to-day operational coordination  
• Conduct stocktakes and monitor inventory levels to minimise discrepancies 
• Process customer payments and operate POS systems accurately 
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the bar area 
• Monitor draught beer systems, tap kegs and replenish stock as required 
• Promote food and beverage offerings to enhance customer experience 
• Ensure compliance with responsible service of alcohol requirements 

Qualification & Experience 

• Minimum one (1) year of full-time experience as a Bar Attendant (Supervisor) or similar role 
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate team members 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy hospitality environment 
• Sound knowledge of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages 
• Positive attitude and strong customer service focus
