Salary: AUD 75,000 – 80,000 per annum (plus superannuation)

We are currently seeking multiple qualified and experienced Bakers to join our teams at our Bakers Delight stores in Bentleigh and Bentleigh East.

Task & responsibilities

• Preparing, mixing, shaping, and baking bread, rolls, pastries, and specialty products in accordance with Bakers Delight standards.
• Monitoring quality of raw ingredients and finished products.
• Ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene requirements.
• Operating ovens and baking machinery efficiently and safely.
• Supervising and mentoring apprentice bakers and junior staff.
• Managing stock levels, production schedules, and daily output targets.

Qualification & experience

• A trade qualification in baking (Certificate III in Retail Baking or equivalent) is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Baker in a commercial bakery environment.
• Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
• Strong teamwork and time management skills.
• Commitment to high-quality baking and customer satisfaction.
