Panetta Mercato is a family-owned fresh food business that operates at various locations in Sydney. We have a great opportunity for an experienced Baker to join our team in Kirrawee, NSW. Applicant must be very experienced and share our passion for creating quality baked products for our customers.

Tasks & responsibilities
- Preparation and production of quality bakery products.
- Weighing flour and other ingredients to prepare dough.
- Mixing, scaling and dividing dough as required.
- Kneading, maturing, cutting, moulding, mixing and shaping dough and pastry goods.
- Operating machines and tools to prepare bakery products.
- Decorating cakes with glazes, icings, buttercream and edible toppings.
- Maintaining a cleanliness of machines, tools and premises and abide by company policies and procedures in relation to WHS (Workplace Health and Safety) and Food Safety to ensure a safe working environment for customers, staff and contractors.
- Monitoring oven temperatures and product appearance to determine baking times, etc.
- Adhere to our strict HACCP protocols
- Punctuality and reliability a must.
- Good communication skills.
- People Management Skills
Qualifications & experience
Experience required:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar environment as Baker
- Formal baking/patisserie qualifications, minimum Certificate IV level
- Be Australian citizens or permanent residents or hold a visa with full working rights
