This is not a temporary, transactional contract. The FinXL Associate Program is a structured career investment designed to fast-track your progression into ICT and Digital Project leadership roles. From Day 1, you will be deployed onsite with Westpac, supporting a key transformation engagement while receiving the enterprise experience and corporate visibility needed to step directly into a secure, permanent role or move into a Senior PM position within just a few years.

Key Responsibilities

Working within a collaborative enterprise environment, you will support project objectives by executing the following core delivery tasks:

• Delivery Support: Support project objectives by completing assigned tasks and monitoring progress.

• Scope Management: Assist in defining project scope to ensure outcomes stay aligned with business goals.

• Governance & Reporting: Monitor and report on project financials, risks, issues, and milestones to ensure alignment with enterprise delivery methodologies.

• Financial Admin: Assist in the preparation of cost estimates and funding approval submissions.

• Vendor Management: Support operational contact and performance reporting for project vendors.

• Stakeholder Engagement: Support engagement across business and technology functions to maintain clear project visibility.

What We Are Looking For

We are hunting for high-potential talent with a growth mindset. To be successful, you must meet the following criteria:

• Less than 5 years of total professional experience, with some entry-level project environment exposure and a basic awareness of PM concepts.

• Tertiary qualifications (Degree or Diploma) in IT, Business Information Systems, Project Management, or equivalent professional experience.

• Strong collaborative skills with the ability to analyse problems under direction.

• A bubbly, friendly, and confident personality with an open, engaging manner.
