About the role

Reporting to the Specialist Manager, the Assistant Specialist Manager role is part of a wider Distribution Centre Team.. The role brings a customer centric focus to specialist product by providing a customised solution to meet the customer expectation of our equipment expertise, which may involve other Specialist Managers and their team.

• Ensuring effective front desk operations and administration requirements are met to QOM standards
• Liaise with Transport to ensure delivery and pickup of equipment to the customer on time
• Liaise with the Workshop to ensure equipment maintenance and RFH is completed and available as needed for our customers
• Support other specialist areas within the state in the utilisation of hire equipment by transferring equipment between locations as required.
• Maintain asset security at all times.
• Follow the directions and complete all tasks as requested by Kennards Branch and Area Management.
• Supervise, delegate and assign daily duties to team members and ensure all tasks are completed to Kennards Hire Standards

About you

•  You are an aspiring leader looking to grow your career in people and operational management. to be successful in this role, you will possess;
• Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to build lasting relationships
• Previous experience within a retail sales / leadership role from the trade or hardware industry - highly desirable
• Excellent communication skills and tech savvy
• Strong team player and a commitment to safety
