About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Accountant to provide financial accounting support to our wider team.

Key responsibilities:

  • Completing bank reconciliations.

  • Processing of all monthly journal entries, including accruals and prepayments.

  • Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations.

  • Preparation/assistance with month end reporting.

  • Review/Analysis of monthly results and KPI’s.

  • Liaising with a range of internal/external parties.

  • Assist with day-to-day operations of the Finance department, including filing, report generation, budget review etc.

What You Bring:

  • 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role.

  • Understanding of accounting concepts and legislation (debit and credit).

  • Self-motivated with the capacity to work effectively as a team or autonomously.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to deal with a range of internal and external stakeholders.

  • Efficient organisational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.

  • Strong numerical & analytical skills with a good attention to detail.

  • Bachelor of Accounting or equivalent.
