We are now seeking a driven Area Sales Manager to grow our Mining and Heavy Industry customer base across NSW.

About the Role

This is a Newcastle-based external sales role focused on developing and managing key mining and heavy industry accounts across NSW. You will be responsible for driving revenue growth, building long-term client relationships, and delivering tailored technical water management solutions.

You will work closely with internal technical and operational teams to ensure exceptional service delivery and customer outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a territory sales strategy for NSW Mining and Heavy Industry

• Grow and manage existing key accounts while identifying new business opportunities

• Build strong, long-term customer relationships focused on trust and value delivery

• Provide technical product support, training, and in-field customer assistance

• Act as the customer advocate to improve products and service delivery

• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver engineered pump solutions

• Maintain accurate sales forecasting, reporting, and pipeline management

 About You

• Proven success in technical sales (pump, mining, industrial, or engineering sectors preferred)

• Strong mechanical aptitude or qualifications in engineering, sales, or related field

• Excellent account management and business development skills

• Strong communication and relationship-building ability

• Confident using MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

• Full and valid driver’s licence

• Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven approach
