With continued investment in digital capability and operational efficiency, the organisation has built a sophisticated technology ecosystem spanning .NET applications, SQL databases, ERP platforms, REST API integrations, Shopify, warehouse management systems, and third-party logistics providers.
As the business continues to expand, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced Application Support Engineer to join the technology team and help ensure the reliability, performance, and ongoing improvement of key business systems and integrations.
About Your New Role
Reporting into the technology function, this position sits at the intersection of business operations and software development.
As the primary point of technical support for core business applications and integrations, you will be responsible for proactively monitoring system performance, investigating incidents, resolving technical issues, and ensuring seamless communication between stakeholders and development teams.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who thrives on problem-solving, enjoys getting to the root cause of technical issues, and wants to work within a business where technology directly impacts operational performance.
Key responsibilities include:

- Troubleshooting issues across .NET applications, SQL databases, and API-based integrations
- Any exposure and experience to transferable integration tools such as MuleSoft, Boomi, Azure logic Apps, Kafka and others will be highly useful
- Investigating and resolving application, configuration, and data-related incidents
- Escalating complex technical issues to development teams with comprehensive documentation and analysis
- Supporting integrations between ERP systems, Shopify, WMS platforms, and 3PL providers
- Utilising SQL to diagnose data anomalies, performance issues, and application behaviour
- Developing and maintaining support documentation, procedures, and knowledge articles
- Providing clear and concise communication to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across support and operational processes
This is far more than a traditional support role. You'll gain broad exposure across enterprise applications, integrations, and business-critical technology platforms while becoming a trusted technical expert within the organisation.
About You
You are a technically capable Application Support Engineer, Systems Support Analyst, or Technical Support Specialist who enjoys working in complex environments and takes ownership of delivering high-quality outcomes.
To be successful, you will bring:

- Experience supporting REST API integrations and troubleshooting integration failures
- Familiarity with monitoring, alerting, and observability tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience working within Jira Service Management or similar ITSM platforms
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- A proactive approach to incident management, issue ownership, and escalation
Experience within logistics, warehousing, supply chain, distribution, or manufacturing environments will be useful but not essential, particularly where you have supported ERP systems, Shopify platforms, WMS solutions, or 3PL integrations.
