ADMINISTRATION + PAYROLL ASSISTANT
Part-Time | 2 Days Per Week | Supportive Local Business
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a long-standing, family-owned transport business with strong local roots and a genuinely supportive team culture. Following the departure of a highly valued team member who is moving on to her next chapter, an opportunity has become available for an organised, reliable and personable Administration + Payroll Assistant to join the business in this important role.
This position would suit someone who enjoys variety in their day, takes pride in keeping things organised, and values being part of a down-to-earth team that enjoys a laugh along the way.
What the role involves:
Providing day-to-day office administration support
Assisting our Warehouse Team with administrative tasks
Managing payroll for approximately 25 employees, including timesheet processing
Coordinating fleet administration including maintenance scheduling and GPS tracking
Processing invoices through MYOB
Using our Transport Management System to manage consignment processes
Accurate data entry and spreadsheet management
What we’re looking for:
Previous administration experience
Strong skills in Microsoft Office and Outlook
Must be extremely confident in using Microsoft Excel
Payroll experience is essential
Good understanding of accounts/admin processes
High attention to detail and accuracy
Someone who fits well within a friendly, team-focused environment
