Administration Officer (Permanent Part-Time)
Life Matters Psychologists – Hamilton, NSW
Life Matters Psychologists is looking for an experienced Administration Officer to join our team in a permanent part-time role (3 days per week).
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating calm, organised systems in a busy environment and understands the importance of professionalism, empathy and attention to detail in a psychology practice.
Working closely with our Admin team and clinical team, you’ll play an important role in supporting both clients and clinicians and helping the practice run smoothly day to day. This role is best suited to someone genuinely interested in an ongoing administration career and becoming a valued long-term member of our team. The position is not suitable for a student placement.
What You’ll Be Doing
Welcoming clients and managing reception duties
Answering and directing phone and email enquiries
Managing clinician diaries and appointment bookings
Processing payments , rebates, third party invoicing such as DVA & NDIS
Conducting intake and triage calls for new referrals.
Supporting day-to-day administrative operations
Maintaining accurate client records and confidentiality
Helping create a professional, warm and organised client experience
About You – Essential Criteria
We’re looking for someone who:
Has a minimum of 2 year’s experience in administration within a healthcare, allied health or psychology setting is essential for this role
Excellent phone and computer skills
Highly organised and able to manage competing priorities
Confident communicating with clients in a professional and compassionate manner
Experience with Zanda or similar is highly desired
Able to maintain confidentiality, professionalism and sensitivity at all times
