The Opportunity

With a strong team culture, a commitment to excellence, and a future?focused mindset, we are looking for an Administration Assistant to join our Newcastle Office.

Key areas of responsibility

Assist with answering phone calls and setting up conference and teams video conferences calls when required.

Be familiar with Outlook and be willing to learn Affinity our legal CRM system to update contacts, schedule calendar appointments, send meeting requests, and archive emails.

Provide backup support to the Office Administration team, and Receptionist as needed.

Type and format reports, presentations, emails, memos, letters, file notes, agendas, and minutes with a high level of accuracy. 

Manage confidential information with the utmost discretion.

Perform various general office duties as required.

Your Professional skills and competencies

Demonstrated experience in customer service, preferably in a similar role.

Experience in law is desired but not necessary.

Advanced technical skills in Microsoft Office programs including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook. Understanding of Adobe Editor is highly desirable.

Excellent communication and presentation skills with a confident "can do" attitude.

Ability to handle sensitive matters confidentially, tactfully, and diplomatically.

Excellent attention to detail with a keen eye for formatting.

Highly organised with the ability to priorities tasks effectively.
