Southern Cross Care Queensland is seeking an Administration Officer working from Edens Landing - to join the Community team and support our communities.

About the role

Working in the role of the Administration Officer you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Home Care Team working from our Edens Landing Office.

Your responsibilities would include but not be limited to:

  • Providing administrative support and advice to the team to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Managing incoming telephone calls providing accurate information as required.
  • Providing an efficient and approachable interface and point of contact between clients, family members and other Services Providers/Health Professionals and the Area Office.
  • Maintaining accurate data in databases and other data collection systems to support service delivery.
What will you bring to the role?
  • Certificate III in Business Administration or equivalent knowledge, skills and experience (desired).
  • Previous experience in administration, customer service or related field (desired).
  • Demonstrated commitment to customer service ethos.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and negotiate with a broad range of stakeholders.
  • Strong written communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated experience in the Microsoft suite of products including Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
