Mid-Level Acoustic Consultant

JTA Health, Safety & Noise Specialists is looking for a motivated mid-level Acoustic Consultant to join our team.

This role is ideal for someone who has built a solid technical foundation in acoustics and is now ready to take the next step: more client ownership, more involvement in project scoping and delivery, and the opportunity to help grow an important part of the business.

We are looking for someone who is client-focused, ambitious and keen to be more than just a technical report writer. You might already be working as an acoustic consultant and looking for a broader role where you can build stronger client relationships, contribute to business development and play an active role in shaping the future of the environmental acoustics side of our business.

About the role

As a Mid-Level Acoustic Consultant, you will be involved in delivering a range of acoustic consulting projects, with a particular focus on environmental noise over the coming years.

Your work may include:

• Environmental noise assessments
• Occupational noise assessments
• Noise modelling, monitoring and reporting
• Client meetings, project scoping and technical advice
• Preparing clear, practical reports and recommendations
• Supporting proposals and helping develop client relationships
• Working with the broader JTA team across health, safety, occupational hygiene and noise projects

• Has experience in acoustic consulting, ideally in environmental or occupational noise
• Is technically capable but wants to keep developing
• Communicates well with clients and can explain technical information clearly

• Is ambitious and wants to help grow a service line, not just fill a seat
