Position Title: Acora and Kentico Front End Developer

About the Role

The  Acora and Kentico Front End Developer will be responsible for developing, testing and maintaining responsive, accessible and high-performance web interfaces, email templates and other interactive digital displays for DDSN clients. The role requires strong front-end development experience, collaboration with UX/UI specialists, project managers and software engineers and regular consultation with internal stakeholders and clients to clarify functional requirements and ensure accurate technical implementation and familiarity with Acora CMS (Acora) and certified in development and content mapping for Xperience by Kentico digital experience platform. In addition, this developer must also be familiar with AI collaborative development tools to enhance development efficiency & workflows and have emerging skills in AI prompting.

Key Responsibilities

Developing, testing and maintaining responsive, accessible and high-performance web interfaces, email templates and other interactive digital displays for DDSN’s client projects, ensuring high quality, accessibility and cross-device compatibility.

·       Analyse, design and develop front end code and email code for Acora CMS, Kentico Xperience, Xperience by Kentico and other platforms used by the business.

·       Translate UX and design requirements from prototypes (Photoshop, Figma) into adaptive and reusable HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Vue components.

·       Maintain, enhance and refactor existing applications, modules and widgets within Acora and Kentico to meet evolving client requirements.

·       Develop and maintain robust and responsive email templates for client campaigns.

·       Collaborate with project managers and designers (using tools such as Asana, Phabricator, Git, Subversion) to deliver projects on time and in line with client objectives.

·       Conduct technical testing and debugging to identify, resolve and prevent application errors and performance issues.

·       Document all development plans and customisations to client sites

·       Provide advice on usability and technical feasibility during the design and prototyping stage and provide guidance to colleagues or clients on technical best practice where required.

·       Contribute to continuous improvement of DDSN’s web frameworks (including the Leaping Llamas framework) and coding standards.

·       Stay current with emerging web technologies and apply them where relevant to DDSN’s client projects.

Skills and Qualifications

·       Demonstrated experience (4+ years) in web and front-end development.

·       Proficiency in HTML, CSS (SCSS, Less), JavaScript, JQuery, Vue, Nuxt, and responsive design frameworks and email testing platform BrowserStack.

·       Profficiency in HTML and MJML for email and email testing platform Email on Acid.

·       Experience with CMS platforms, particularly Acora, Kentico Xperience & Xperience by Kentico.

·       Strong skills in UI implementation from design tools (Photoshop, Figma).

·       Familiarity with version control and project management tools (Subversion, Asana).

·       Strong communication skills and ability to document technical aspects of development.

·       Strong problem-solving ability, debugging and refactoring skills.

·       Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
