Hyden Engineering are seeking a accounts/administration assistant to work from our Rutherford branch in a full-time position working Monday to Friday 7:30am – 4:00pm in a friendly and team-oriented environment.
This role will help provide timely account and administration functions as well as assist with management of WHS functions including inductions. We are looking for a positive and proactive person who is comfortable in an all-rounder role with a focus on accounts and administration with the desire to complete formal training and progress their career.
The role will be responsible for duties such as, but not limited to:
Carrying out accounts receivable & accounts payable functions such as producing & sending out statements & invoices, data entry into accounting system etc.
Reconciling accounts between our operations and accounts system
Processing credit applications including credit checks and obtaining trade credit references
Organising travel requirements
Assisting/managing of field service induction portals and inductions to various mine sites
Assisting with compliance for WHS
Providing administrative support to our teams
Ideally the successful applicant will have:
Previous experience in a similar role
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Great communication skills
Intermediate computer skills, particularly with Microsoft programs
Previous experience with MYOB would be desirable but not necessary
Ability to work both autonomously and in a small team
Positive, can-do attitude to take on additional duties with the ability to always maintain discretion and confidentiality
A willingness to be flexible and engage in a wide variety of tasks
