ABOUT THE ROLE
Lendsworth Construction & Property Group is seeking an experienced Accountant to join its growing accounting and finance team. This is a diverse and varied role covering all aspects of both management and financial accounting within a property development environment. Located in East Victoria Park, you will be responsible for providing a high level of professionalism, accuracy, and proactive support to ensure the company meets its financial reporting requirements and maximises the effectiveness of its finance functions.
This role is suited to a candidate who thrives working autonomously within a close-knit team and is seeking a stable, long-term position.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Accounts payable and receivable management
• Bank, intercompany, and balance sheet reconciliations
• Reconciliation of ledger accounts including journal preparation
• Budgeting, cashflows, and variance analysis
• Monthly financial and management reporting to senior management
• Preparation of year-end full financial accounts
• Provide proactive support to maximise accounting and finance function effectiveness
• Other duties as required
REQUIREMENTS
• Accounting degree (mandatory)
• CPA or CA qualified, or near qualified
• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience
• Sound knowledge of accounting systems, particularly Xero
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word & Excel
• Strong organisational abilities and high attention to detail
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Previous experience in property development or construction highly regarded
• Ability to work autonomously within a small team environment
