We are seeking an experienced and passionate Full-Time Barista to manage and lead our coffee station operations. As a lead barista, you will be responsible for consistently delivering high-quality specialty coffee, maintaining efficiency during peak service times, and ensuring exceptional customer experiences. 

 Key Duties & Responsibilities

Preparing and serving a high volume of specialty coffees, teas, and hot/cold beverages to a high standard.

Operating, calibrating, and maintaining commercial espresso machinery and grinders (including grind adjustment and milk texturing).

Managing inventory, coffee bean stock rotation, and reordering supplies as required.

Greeting customers, taking orders accurately via the POS system, and processing payments.

Maintaining immaculate hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards across the coffee bar area.

Training and guiding junior front-of-house staff on coffee standards and customer service protocols.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of demonstrated experience as a Barista in a busy café or restaurant environment.

Certifications: Valid Statement of Attainment of an RSA and food hygiene certification (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement).

Technical Proficiency: Proven skill in latte art, dialing-in espresso, speed of service, and espresso equipment troubleshooting.

Soft Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong time management, and ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
