Geniers Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced and reliable Carpenter to join our team in New South Wales. This full‑time role is suited to a skilled tradesperson with strong practical carpentry experience who can work independently as well as part of a team. The successful candidate will work across a range of construction projects and must deliver high‑quality work while following workplace health and safety requirements.

Task & responsibilities

• Perform general carpentry work across residential and/or commercial construction projects
• Read and interpret plans, drawings, specifications and measurements
• Measure, cut, shape and assemble timber and other construction materials
• Construct, install and repair frameworks, walls, floors, roofing structures, doors and other building components
• Install fixtures, fittings, doors, windows, skirting boards and other carpentry components
• Carry out formwork and structural carpentry where required
• Use hand tools, power tools and carpentry equipment safely and effectively
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality and compliance with project specifications
• Work closely with supervisors, tradespeople and other team members to meet project deadlines
• Maintain a clean and safe worksite
• Follow all workplace health and safety procedures and company policies

Qualification & experience

• Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent
• 1–2 years carpentry experience
• Ability to read plans and measurements
• Strong cutting, installation and finishing skills
• Good attention to detail and workmanship
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Understanding of WHS requirements
• Physically capable of construction work
• Driver’s licence and White Card desirable
