Our Client is seeking an experienced and safety-focused Truck Driver to support the safe and efficient transportation of freight, equipment, materials and products between operational and customer locations.
The successful applicant will play an important role in ensuring deliveries and collections are completed safely, efficiently and within required timeframes, while maintaining high standards of safety, compliance and customer service.

• Operate heavy vehicles and equipment in accordance with company procedures and safety requirements.
• Conduct pre-start checks and routine inspections to ensure vehicles and equipment are safe and operational.
• Transport and collect freight, equipment, materials and products between locations.
• Plan and follow appropriate routes to meet operational and customer requirements.
• Ensure deliveries and collections are completed within agreed timeframes.
• Assist with loading and unloading activities where required.
• Inspect freight for visible damage and report discrepancies.
• Monitor load weights and distribution to ensure compliance with vehicle limits and legal requirements.
• Comply with road transport legislation, fatigue management requirements and company policies.
• Obtain delivery acknowledgements and complete required transport and compliance documentation.
• Maintain accurate vehicle inspection and maintenance records.
• Identify and report equipment faults, hazards, incidents and non-conforming products.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Attend toolbox talks and safety briefings and comply with site-specific safety procedures.
The successful applicant will have:
• Previous experience working as a Truck Driver.
• Relevant heavy vehicle licences, tickets and competencies.
• Demonstrated ability to operate heavy vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Strong understanding of road safety, fatigue management and hazard identification.
• Ability to undertake manual handling duties.
• Good communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable and punctual approach to work.
Licences and Requirements
• Valid Driver’s Licence – mandatory.
• Construction White Card – mandatory.
• Relevant tickets, licences and verification of competency for plant/equipment.
• High Risk Work Licence, including forklift or EWP – desirable.
• Working at Heights and Confined Space Entry – desirable.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening.
• Willingness to travel and work in remote locations where required.
