At Gana Plantation Pty Ltd a Fruit Farm Worker will assist with planting, pruning, irrigation, weed and pest control, harvesting, sorting and packing fruit, maintaining crops and farm equipment, and ensuring safe and efficient farm operations.

Salary range: $70,000 - $80,000 per Annum + Superannuation.
Task & responsibilities
- Plant, cultivate and maintain fruit crops.
- Prune plants and perform weeding, fertilising and irrigation activities.
- Monitor crops for pests, diseases and general plant health.
- Harvest fruit safely and efficiently at the appropriate stage of maturity.
- Sort, grade and pack harvested fruit according to quality standards.
- Operate and maintain basic farm tools, machinery and equipment.
- Maintain clean and safe work areas and follow workplace health and safety procedures.
Qualification & experience
- Certificate III in Horticulture with 1 year of full-time experience as a Fruit Farm Worker or 3 years of full-time experience as a Fruit Farm Worker.
- Experience in planting, pruning, irrigation, harvesting, sorting or packing fruit is advantageous.
- Ability to safely use basic farm tools, machinery and equipment.
- Good physical fitness and ability to perform manual and repetitive outdoor work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and in varying weather conditions.
- Applicants must have full Australian work rights.
- Australian Citizens or Permanent Residents are preferred.
